Hello,

I have a Dlink DVG-G5402SP, that came with firmware Version: RU_1.00 installed that i bought in Moscow. It won't upgrade.

here is what i did,

On the PC:
I downloaded from ftp.dlink.ru the following file DVG-x5402SP_1.2.38.32_drv_0.10.26, and then unpacked it into a directory for the TFTP program. 5 or 6 files all in the correct directory are displayed. I start the TFTP program, its solar winds.

On the router:
I log into the router, in the firmware upgrade section i enter my IP address. click start, get the
"VoIP Router Upgrade - don't power down"message.
progress bar goes through to 70 then 80 then 90 etc 100%, then get the VoIP Router Reboot message.

on the PC:
The TFTP programs shows two files have been transferred
v82sipg.pack
v82sipgXXXX-266.pack.app
so all looks good here.

But the firmware still displays Firmware Version: RU_1.00, there was never any kind of message to say "upgrade complete" either.

so, how do i upgrade? is there some known problem here?

has anyone had success upgrading the firmware?

any help would be appreciated.

Dear phi1ip,
all is ok since RU_1.00 it's just region version and you should check diver version on status page. It must be 0.10.26.
