Собственно все было нормально, но в последние два дня связь просто ужасна. На самом модеме - лампочка ADSL горит (в тех.поддержку звонил - инженер перегрузил оборудование на стороне провайдера - лампочка моргала - сообщение в логе другое) - а так полный лог вот такого:

при этом страницы открываются через раз, про нормальную скорость говорить не приходится

проблема решилась

установкой новой прошивки

и уменьшением кол-ва открытых соединений в используемом софте


пока стабильно все

после перепрошивки - надо обязательно сбрасывать настройки к заводским - без этого настроивать модем не удалось (ни опера ни firefox не работают корректно с последней прошивкой) - хорошо что на ноутбуке есть винда - но вообще это конечно не гуманно так делать - старая версия прошивки была в этом плане кросс-платформенной

попутно замечу - что с версией 2.0EU - не работал virtual server (просто не слушался порт снаружи и все)

вообще я бы предпочел не кликать по интерфейсу, а скачал файл - поправил - загрузил - перегрузил модем и все готово.
