Купил роутер 524, дома вход интернета витая пара от кабельного модема прова (в щитке на площадке) с динамическим IP, десктоп с сетевухой WIN XP home и бук с WI-FI.
Хотелось локалку и выход из локалки стого или инного в инет...
Дык вот нифига не получается....
Интернет по PPPoE динамичесий... в винде такое соединение работает если кабель в сетевуху воткнуть, да и провайдер настаивает что PPPoE.
Если в настройках роутера ставить динамический PPPoE то роутер нифига даже не пытается соединится - как выяснилось из одновременного сеанса общения с техподдержкой прова - к кабельному модему на площадке даже небыло попыток соединится - как мне сказали, мой роутер должен получить DHCP от модема чего не происходит....
Но если я выбираю тип подключения "другой" и "Telia" где только логин и пароль то он как бы подключается к провайдеру но не дает выйти никуда (в интернет) кроме личного кабинета где статистика, счет, услуги и т.п. - т.е. можно сделать вывод что железо всётаки работает.
Правда когда я назвал техподдержке IP, SubMASK, Gateway полученные при этом, они сказали что все данные неверны.....

Железка как хаб с wi-fi работает без проблем, но вот подключение через WAN никак. Что делать?
ПОМОГИТЕ.....

PS: была прошивка 2.01, прошил 2,03 эффект тотже.... может всётаки железка глючит ?....

PS: я чайник - сильно не ругайте .... и если будете объяснять, то можно по проще ....

Ну почему ASUS работает а D-LINK нет ? все факи и мануалы читал что можете сказать по существу? (имеется ввиду сотрудники фирмы)

Такое ощущение что DI-524 через PPPoE не работает в принципе.

Все проблему решил заменой на 724P+ бо других фирм не было.
