Hello!
Please assist us!
We have troubles with ADSL communicator dsl-504G.
As I know you got the same problems with your users.
We have many calls from our users, that D-link 504G ADSL router is crashing while work. I've tried reset and even upgrading the firmwares but the problem persists.
This looks like modem is frozen sometimes. It keeps crashing and I can't ping 10.1.1.1 and I can't get access to modem's menu
http://10.1.1.1
As I know from this forum
http://www.myadsl.co.za/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=3975 this problem appears when communication line is bad, and, as I know you swop-out DSL-504G series with the T-series.
Please confirm that you swop-out G series.
And also it will be great, if you can explain me what exactly is wrong with G series with the serial number DQ9L146....
Many thanks and regards!

Dear Ignatov Peter
Logging into 10.1.1.1 already gives me an indication that you're running on the wrong firmware. Please find attached the latest firmware available for the DSL-504G which will change you IP to 192.168.0.1 (прошивки в письме небыло, да и никчему мне африканская прошивка
Concerning the DQ9L146.... crisis we had, we shipped a batch units from Singapore that were suppose to fix a problem we call dying caps created by telkom a year ago. This behavior created havoc under all non-telkom supplied ADSL equipment. This was a problem that could not be solved with firmware or any setting of that sort. That's why we imported the DQ9L146.... batch which ran on a different circuitry. Instead of solving this problem it created a new and far worse problem. Disconnecting completely, losing LAN communication. The only way to get connected to the internet is to do a power cycle. That's why we ripped the G-series out with the serial prefix and replaced it with the T-series which is more stable, supports a more rugged ADSL infrastructure as we have in sunny (telkom) SA, and uses a totally different chipset.
