I have this unit DVG-G5402SP, latest firmware.

There have been two situations where this has been resetting again,and again. Router boots, then after about 30 seconds reboots...continuous!

One time reproducable.

Router set with static IP, router was behind the first internet sharing device.
Under NAT traversal i had this set to STUN.
router keeps rebooting.
Using Stun inquiry, i check the NAT type. get "UDP blocked".
i removed STUN enable and enabled PPTP client. The router then stopped resetting. It was reproducable. If UDP is blocked, I don't expect the router to keep rebooting.

On the second occasion when the router was resetting continuous, there was some problem with an ADSL modem or a cable fault where there was a high bit errors. the ping test was failing.

When the other fault was fixed, the router stopped resetting, but when there is some other problem you do not expect the router to keep resetting, it confuses everyone. Is there some known problem here?

anyone else have this problem? a fix? suggestions?
